The MIMOSA project (2022-2026), co-ordinated by Pr. Angela Vella from the Groupe de Physique des Matériaux - UMR CNRS 6634 at Rouen University, aims to develop a 4D microscope for analyzing biological materials using Atomic Probe Tomography (APT), and it involves multidisciplinary collaboration across physics, chemistry, biology, biomedicine, and computational modeling. Our laboratory's contribution, as partners of this project,  is led by Dr Thomas Duflot, who together with newly recruited postdoctoral fellow, Dr Mohammad Al Tarrass, includes synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing nanosized biomaterials, such as mitochondrial fractions, proteins, lipoproteins, and extracellular vesicles for APT imaging.
